Privacy Policy

This page explains what information the KBK Photography website collects and how it is used. KBK Photography is a photography business based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, serving North Idaho.

Contact form: your name, email, message, and phone number (optional). This is sent by email to Kam so she can reply. The contact form does not save your message in the site's database.

Booking form: your name, email, phone, Instagram handle (optional), session type, preferred date/time, location preference, and notes. This is saved in the site's database as a booking record (with a status and a marker for whether a deposit has been received) and also emailed to Kam.

A copy of each contact and booking notification email is also sent to the person who built and maintains this website (CP Digital) so that the site's notifications can be monitored.

We use this information to respond to you, schedule and confirm sessions, and manage the booking.

Sending an inquiry or booking request is only a request for information or a session. It is not a photo session, and it does not give or take away any permission about how photographs are used. Permissions about using photographs (for example in a portfolio or on social media) are separate from this policy and are not set by it. Please ask Kam directly if you have questions about them.

The public forms on this site do not accept photo or file uploads from visitors. Photographs delivered to clients are uploaded by Kam to private client galleries and are stored with the website's hosting platform.

The site does not have client accounts or passwords. On the Client Login page, you enter your email address and the site shows any active galleries saved under that email. Each gallery also has a link with an access code, and a gallery may have an expiration date. Gallery records include your name, email, the session name, the photos, and the access code.

• Hosting, database, file storage and email sending: the website runs on the Base44 platform, which stores booking and gallery records and photos and sends the notification emails.
• Deposits: deposits are not processed on this website. After you submit a booking request, you are asked to send a deposit by Venmo (@kamriegoates). Venmo handles that payment under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Communication: Kam replies to you by email or phone using the details you provide.
• Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google.
• Social links: links to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok take you to those services, which have their own privacy practices.

The hosting platform records page visits by signed-in users as part of running the app, and may keep technical logs of requests. We have not added analytics tools, advertising pixels, or session recording to this website's code.
